How the slot works
The playing field of Extra Chili is divided into two screens: a main screen and an additional screen. They work together. Principle of operation:
• Main. It consists of six reels. The number of cells changes each round depending on the size of the symbols, but there can not be more than six cells.
• Additional. Consists of four reels, one cell each. Acts as a substitute for characters from the main screen. Similar symbols complement the main screen on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
The size of the symbols on both screens changes each spin. Lines cannot be adjusted. After each successful spin, the winning combination explodes – the cells in its place are replaced by new symbols. They can also activate the winning line. The amount of winnings depends directly on the size of the cells.
Special symbols
Extra Chilli slot machine includes four special symbols – two standard and two inherent to Megaways machines.
➊ The scatter consists of three symbols: an ‘H’, an ‘O’ and a ‘T’. Getting three of these symbols triggers the risk game for freespins.
➋ Additional Scatter – each of these adds 4 freespins.
➌ The Freespins Scatter adds extra spins during the Freespins round.
➍ Wild replaces all symbols except Scatter and Feature Drop.
There is also the Feature Drop symbol. The option of the same name allows you to buy a risk round, and the appearance of the symbols reduces the cost of this purchase. The amount of reduction depends on the number of symbols and their size.
Free spins and risk game
The risk round is the only full-fledged bonus mode. It is triggered by three Scatters on one of the lines. Mechanism of operation:
• The base reward is 8 spins – the player is free to choose whether to risk more freespins or pick up the base reward.
• If accepted, the Wheel of Fortune opens – two control buttons and four levels. To boost a level, the wheel arrow must not hit an empty area.
• After each boost, the choice is given again – you can increase the current amount by 4 or take the winnings.
• The third and fourth levels have an irreplaceable number of freespins, which the gambler will receive even after losing.
• While the freespins are being used, each successful round increases the multiplier of the final reward.
In addition to this round, Extra Chile slot also has the reactions mentioned above, but they cannot be called a bonus mode. After each successful spin, the cells are replaced with random ones. On repeat success, the mechanism for increasing the base coefficient changes.
