Why Play Playtech American Roulette
Playtech’s American Roulette is fun to play and has two zeros – 0 and 00. This may make it seem like the odds are not as great as in European Roulette, but the game still has all the elements required to make play interesting. All the usual roulette bets that you see are available in this game – even or odd bet, red or black, 19-36, 1-18, split bets, straight up bets, line bets, corner bets, five bets, column/dozen bets, and street bets.
The game comes with excellent graphics and animations and some great sound. The graphics are smooth and show in detail the roulette table. The chips are stacked alongside the table and one can also see the minimum and maximum coin sizes. Clicking on this displays a menu that shows the roulette table limits, including payouts, for the different bets. There are two views of the roulette wheel: the first is the overall view, with the table at the center and the roulette wheel at the side.
The second view is a close-up of the wheel with the numbers on it. When a player hits the Spin button, the wheel starts spinning in both views; the first view shows the wheel and the plastic ball spinning in opposite directions, while the second view gives you an up close and personal look at where the plastic ball has stopped. At the bottom of this view is also displayed the bet amount and the amount won at the end of a spin.
The Spin button spins the wheel, while the Rebet button causes the bet placed in the earlier round to be placed again for the new round. The Clear Bet button clears all bets from the table.
How to Play American Roulette
The first step towards playing Playtech’s American Roulette for real money is to place the bets. To do this, players must select the chip size corresponding to their bet amount and place their bets on the table. The minimum bet a player can place is 1 credit, while the maximum permissible bet in this game is 500 credits. Players can choose the different bets they want to use and place their chips on the table accordingly. Once the chips are in place, the player hits the Spin button. The wheel spins with the plastic ball spinning in the opposite direction, and the second view of the wheel mentioned earlier shows the exact number the ball stops at. All winning bets are then automatically paid out to the player.
Players playing American Roulette by Playtech for real money can click the History option in the Settings menu at the top right to see the game history. The game is great to play, but without too many special features, unlike in some of the other roulette offerings from Playtech.
Players, however, have the option of customizing the game to their liking. They can adjust the volume by tweaking the audio settings and can also tweak the game settings.
